If you have not seen this cartoon, you honestly don’t know whatyou’re missing. It’s extremely funny, and one of the best downloadsI’ve seen all year. With a little Paint Shop Pro magic, and enough hardwork, I came up with this picture that can be downloaded and used aswallpaper on your PC. At 1280 X 1024 Resolution, this is one hot download.CreatedBy SharpDon'tforget to check out the Video 'Tripping the Rift'. Hi I am a real newbie trying to set my daughter up with a small home studio. We haveStudio OneAudioBox iTwoKorg PA-600 keyboard / synthesizerMic & headphone, don't have the model off hand. She is trying to play music with beats and all on the Korg and have it record in studio one. We can't figure out how to get that working. If we set up a virtual instrument, it records fine however it uses the sounds from the PC virtual instrument instead of the sounds and beats the Korg is outputting. The workaround she is doing now is recording from the Korg to a USB stick, then transferring the file to the PC and importing to Studio One, which really is wasting a lot of time and is a hassle vs recording the full audio directly in to Studio one.If anyone can guide a newbie it would be greatly appreciated, Thank You.
That's the keyboard I use, Like the pa600.There's several ways to use an external keyboard in a DAW like studio one but a lot more ways you can use an arranger keyboard.I write a song in S1 then send a chord pattern to the PA to guide the style play, you have to sync up the two using midi clock first. quote='Tacman7'You would hook up the two line outs of the PA to your interfaces line inputs to get the audio into S1./quoteThis is the first thing I'm wondering - sounds like he has a midi/usb connection (virtual instruments are playing) but he makes no mention of an audio connection. He DOES say he's a total noob - this is Noob Goof 101 stuff. So to the OP - do you have the audio outs from the PA connected to you interface, that interface properly assigned in S1, and appropriate tracks selected/armed/monitored?
Ok.Midi is not sound, it's just instructions on what to do with an instrument. So you take the midi from the PA600 and have it play on a virtual instrument and you hear the sound it makes. If you want the sound of the PA600 you have to route the audio output to the audio input of your audio interface. Then set up an audio input in song options and set up a track to record or monitor that input. If you hit F1 then read under setup- input output setup. So you need a couple of audio cables and plug them from the line outputs on the PA to the line inputs on the interface. Some synths allow the audio to be transferred directly over USB but I think in this case this does not apply to the PA600. I have downloaded the manual and had a read. Something you should do before making statements that might be in fact incorrect.Apparently you can drag the audio files directly over the USB port to the computer but this is not the default setting. What others are saying here is correct. The easiest way to capture the audio is to connect the audio outputs (both in stereo please) direct to your audio interface and record it in real time. Please add your specs to your.Search the.
